On 22nd November the members of Inclusion [SR]’s Social Responsibility and Environmental Committee from Bahía Blanca carried out a recycling and environmental awareness workshop at San José Kindergarten in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
The activity was conducted in alliance with Ecobotellas Bahía, a nonprofit organization that aims to promote environmental awareness through single-use plastic recycling.
The workshop revolved around the approach of “3R: Reduce, Reuse and Recycle”. By means of didactic games the kids learned about the environmental impact plastic has and the importance of recycling. The teachers and the institution’s authorities were very pleased with the workshop and are committed to developing activities with an environmental perspective.
The SR&E Committee members that organized and helped with the event have found the experience rewarding and useful to strengthen our internal standards related to environmental protection.
