As part of I[SR]s own Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, we are proud to announce our sponsorship of the Cape Town Shosholoza FC Project (Shosholoza Project).
The Shosholoza Project is a youth development project established by our CEO, Richard Wilson, along with Ryan Botha and Neil Winstanley, two local S. African ex-professional soccer players, to promote sports-related careers amongst disadvantaged youth in some of Cape Town most economically challenged communities.
The first phase of the project is focussed on taking a team of U16 players to the Mediterranean International Cup (MIC), held during Easter Week 2020, on the Costa Brava, near Barcelona, Spain. For most of these kids it will be their first time traveling out of Cape Town, much less internationally. The Project will expose them to new cultures, experiences and world-class soccer.
More information is available at www.shosholozafc.org.za, where donations are being solicited to defray the costs of travel and lodging for the team. I[SR] asks for your additional support for this worthwhile social project.
