The Luxembourg Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, for the last fifteen years, has been undertaking an initiative that intends to promote financial inclusion enterprises and highlight their contribution to the development of the sector. This award serves two purposes: rewarding excellence and collecting and disseminating the best practices.
This year’s topic is “Encouraging Effective & Inclusive Savings”. The aim is to recognize the crucial role that savings play for low-income and excluded population and how financial providers can encourage their effective use.
Microfinance institutions that wish to apply, must do so before April 15th.
