Inclusion [Social Ratings] launches its new Social Enterprise Rating

We are happy to announce the launch of our Social Enterprise Rating (SER) designed to provide an in-depth analysis of Social Enterprises.

We are committed towards building a more inclusive and sustainable world. This new rating product helps assess the social performance and impact of organizations that exist at the intersection of the traditional business, government, and non-profit sectors, and make up what is commonly referred to as the “Third Sector”, as well as social enterprises that seek to maximise their social impact alongside the generation of sustainable profit.  The ultimate aim is to help social organizations and their donors/investors tackle more effectively social and environmental problems.

The SER is based upon a combination of a proprietary scorecard, where data captured from documents and information provided directly by the organization to Inclusion analysts, is processed utilizing proprietary algorithms, weighted by an analytical hierarchy process, that considers objective and subjective multi-criteria to arrive at an implied Social Enterprise Rating.

Santiago Arnaudin, Head of Ratings and Director for Europe and North America at I[SR], said: “This product builds on our extensive experience in the social rating industry. As investors and donors increasingly integrate social and environmental dimensions into their decision-making process, the need for a solution that provides a comprehensive picture of a social organization’s social performance and potential impact, is evident. For Inclusion, this is the first in a new series of products and services that will help social enterprises and nonprofits advance their social mission and provide investors and donors with a new tool to better assess their own impact and investment decisions.”
