On April 26 and 27, 2018, the Iberian Organization of Professional Evaluators (Aproeval) and Oxfam Intermon organized the workshop “Evaluation in the Field of Cooperation and Education for Development”. The objective of the workshop was to analyze current challenges, opportunities, and trends in the evaluation of development cooperation and social transformation. Inclusion [Social Ratings] participated in the section “Measuring the Immeasurable – Capturing Social Change” and introduced to the participants how the microfinance sector is using Social Performance Management ratings as a diagnostic tools to assess and understand how microfinance institutions are translating its social mission into practice and how the results can be used to improve an institutions operations and decisions, based on their clients’ needs.
